| As these things
go, most of the passengers, including a large and boisterous contingent
of high school basketball players, were oblivious that they were part
of this vessel's swansong. So too, was the older guy I met on the promenade
deck who stated that "this ferry's really showing her age!". It was a typical March day on the coast-- overcast and spitting rain-- when the 45 year-old Esquimalt sailed in and berthed gently at Tsawwassen. |
